Call for Papers
The Impact 9 International Printmaking Conference will be held in the China Academy of Art, Hangzhou, China from 22nd September – 26th September 2015. The conference theme is 'Printmaking in the Post-Print Age: Critical and Creative Methods in the context of Contemporary Art and Society '.
The event will follow the conventions of IMPACT by focusing upon an academic conference with a range of peer-reviewed papers for publication along with artist/illustrated talks and panel discussions.
The programme will feature a number of presentations from invited keynote speakers, a series of technical demonstrations as well as specialist interest and peripheral events such as a portfolio and trade session.
The conference will also be marked by a series of exhibitions, performances and public printmaking related events and activities, such as the launching of the First Hangzhou Tri-annual International Nominated Printmaking Exhibition.
The Impact 9 Organising Committee invites you to submit proposals for academic papers, illustrated talks & panel discussions and welcomes alternative forms of delivery/presentation – outside of a conventional lecture style approach.
We also welcome proposals and enquiries regarding exhibitions, demonstrations & open portfolio sessions.
